Lynn Sessions

Lynn is the sister of Phillip Prince and grew up among a family who loved to sing. She made her first recording at age ten with her mother, father, and brother. Lynn has recorded with the groups Southern Harmony and Southern Heirs. Lynn is a prolific songwriter, having several songs in publications which have been used for congregational worship.

Lynn has done extensive study on the rudiments of music and harmony at the Stamps/Baxter School of Music and the National School of Music when it was located in Roanoke, Alabama, under the direction of the late Mr. Dorsey C. Yarbrough and the late Mr. C.C. Stafford. She has also studied voice under the direction of Dr. A. Charles Allen from Grapeland, Texas.

Lynn has served several terms as Vice President of the Jacksonville Gospel Singers Association in Jacksonville, Florida. Lynn lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband Davey and has one daughter, Jayme.
